Therapeutic Approach

My psychotherapeutic approach is client-centred. This means that I approach each client with warmth, empathy and non-judgmental positive regard, listening carefully and attentively to formulate an appropriate treatment plan. I respect the rights and dignity of every human being to be responsible for their own decisions and remain loyal to themselves.

My integrative and holistic approach to treatment is aligned with current research which shows that psychological therapy is most effective when the whole person is treated. This includes addressing the person’s feelings (emotions), thoughts (cognitions), behaviours, interpersonal, occupational and existential functioning, as well as physical health.
